NeuroKnock · NeuroByte’s flagship
Stop knocking
blind.
NeuroKnock tells door-to-door sales teams which metro to enter and which blocks to knock once you’re there — ranked by real property and economic signals, and delivered to your reps as a field app that works even with no cell service.
We rebuilt door-to-door targeting around an analysis of more than 350,000 real door-to-door leads. The clearest finding: which market a team works was the single biggest driver of appointment rates in that data — a bigger swing than rep skill or season.
Territory is the highest-leverage decision in door-to-door sales, and most teams still make it on folklore — last year’s turf, a manager’s hunch, a random subdivision. NeuroKnock replaces the folklore with math.
How it works
Two layers of scoring, one simple answer
NeuroKnock answers the two questions every door-to-door operation gets wrong by guessing: which market should we be in, and where inside it should reps spend their doors?
Layer one
Pick the right market
Market Discovery ranks roughly 267 US metro areas on the signals that predict door-to-door conversion — housing affordability in the band where offers close, and how much contractor activity the market already supports. Before a single rep gets on a plane, you know which metros deserve your team and which would burn a season.
- Every US metro ranked, not guessed at
- Affordability signals from US Census data
- Contractor-density signals for market freshness
Layer two
Score every block inside it
When you declare a blitz — a concentrated push in one market — NeuroKnock pulls fresh data for that area and scores every census block group in it. The result is a strength map: reps work the strongest blocks first instead of wandering a subdivision hoping.
Home value band
Census home-value data, weighted toward the price band where door-to-door offers actually convert.
Owner occupancy
Owners answer the door with authority to buy. Renters can’t say yes to the roof.
Permit activity
Recent building permits within 24 months — a neighborhood that’s already improving keeps improving.
Residency length
How long households stay put — stability correlates with investment in the home.
Home age
Construction-era band used as a tie-breaker for pitch relevance.
Signal weights start as researched priors, then get re-fit against your team’s actual field outcomes. The model is never tuned to make an area look good — data is truth.
For reps
Built for a sidewalk, not a desk
A rep’s screen time should be measured in seconds. NeuroKnock’s field app is glance-and-go: open it, see how strong the block you’re standing on is, and get pointed — in plain words, not map-reading — to the next block worth your doors.
“Where Next” card
The strength of your current block, a cardinal-direction arrow to the next strong one, and a WALK ME THERE button. That’s the whole workflow.
One tap per door
Log an outcome without typing a single character at the doorstep. Big targets, outdoor-readable type.
Claim your own turf
The app splits a blitz into contiguous areas; each rep claims one with a tap. No manager spreadsheet, no turf arguments.
Works all day offline
The whole blitz — scores, boundaries, map tiles — is cached on the phone before you leave the truck. Results sync when signal returns.
For managers
Run the blitz from one live map
Reps get simplicity; managers get depth. Every knock a rep logs lands on the map in real time, so you’re steering the day while it’s happening — not reading about it tomorrow.
Metro rankings
The Market Discovery dashboard: every ranked metro with its scoring breakdown, for deciding where the team goes next.
Live heatmaps
Flip the blitz map between score, rank, and knock-activity views to see where the heat is and where reps actually are.
Territory tools
Draw and assign territories by hand, or let reps claim auto-divided areas themselves.
Live activity feed
Door results stream in as reps log them — watch coverage build block by block.
CSV export
Every outcome, exportable. Your data stays your data.
Roles and invites
Invite-gated accounts with separate rep and manager roles. Reps see their work; managers see everything.
Compliance by design
Targeting your lawyer can sign off on
Data-driven neighborhood targeting has a third rail: fair-housing and anti-discrimination law. NeuroKnock was built with that constraint as a founding rule, not a patch.
What scoring uses
- ✓Home value band
- ✓Owner occupancy
- ✓Permit activity
- ✓Residency length
- ✓Home age
- ✓Public property and economic data only
What scoring never uses
- ✕Race or ethnicity
- ✕Religion
- ✕National origin
- ✕Familial status
- ✕Any protected attribute — or proxy for one
Every recommendation writes its inputs and the active scoring configuration to an audit log — so “why did it point us here?” always has a documented answer.
Automation beyond the doors
NeuroKnock is our flagship, but NeuroByte also designs and runs custom AI automation — intake, call documentation, dashboards, and system integrations — as a secondary service for teams that want more of their operation off their plate.
NeuroKnock, answered
What is NeuroKnock?
NeuroKnock is NeuroByte’s flagship product: a territory-intelligence platform for door-to-door sales teams. It ranks which metro areas are worth entering, scores every neighborhood block inside the market you choose, and delivers the answer to your reps as an offline-capable field app — so every knock happens on a street chosen by data instead of gut feel.
How does NeuroKnock decide where reps should knock?
Two layers. First, market discovery: NeuroKnock ranks roughly 267 US metro areas on housing affordability and contractor-activity signals, so you enter markets where door-to-door offers actually convert. Second, block scoring: inside your chosen market, every census block group is scored on property and economic signals — home value band, owner occupancy, recent permit activity, residency length, and home age. Reps see the result as a simple strength map: work the strong blocks first.
What data does NeuroKnock use?
Public property and economic data — primarily US Census American Community Survey figures (home values, owner occupancy, residency, home age) and municipal building-permit records. It never uses race, ethnicity, religion, national origin, familial status, or any other legally protected attribute, and it excludes signals that could act as proxies for them.
Is data-driven door targeting legal?
NeuroKnock was designed from day one for legally defensible targeting. Scoring uses property and economic signals only — never protected-class data or proxies for it — and every recommendation the system makes writes its inputs and the active scoring configuration to an audit log. If anyone ever asks why an area was recommended, the answer is on record.
Does it work without cell service?
Yes — that constraint shaped the whole product. NeuroKnock is offline-first: the app caches your entire blitz (scores, boundaries, and map tiles) on the rep’s phone before they head out. Door results logged with no signal queue on the device and sync automatically when coverage returns.
What does a rep actually see?
A glance-and-go “Where Next” card built for someone standing on a sidewalk in the sun: the strength of the block they’re on, a plain-language arrow to the next strong block, and a WALK ME THERE button. Logging a door is one tap — no typing at the doorstep. Big tap targets, outdoor-readable type, and the map is there when they want it, not in the way when they don’t.
What does a manager see?
A metro-ranking dashboard for deciding where to send the team, and a live blitz map for running the push: score and activity heatmaps, territory drawing tools, a real-time feed of door results as reps log them, and CSV export. Reps can also self-serve territory: the app splits a blitz into contiguous areas and each rep claims one with a tap.
Which door-to-door industries does NeuroKnock fit?
Any team that sells at the door and cares which doors: exterior remodeling, windows, roofing, solar, pest control, security, fiber and internet, and lawn care are natural fits. The scoring signals are configured per client, so what counts as a “strong block” reflects what your offer actually needs.
How do we get started with NeuroKnock?
Book a demo. We’ll walk your operation through the platform, set up your market and first blitz, and get your reps invited into the field app. NeuroKnock is run for you by NeuroByte — there’s no software for your team to install, configure, or maintain.
Every door your team knocks costs money.
Knock the right ones.
